Paris Saint Germain (PSG) star KylianMbappe has reached an agreement over a move to Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid according to the reports emanating from the media. A lot of the popular media outlets on the European continent have reported that the player has agreed a deal with Real Madrid quoting his agent Bruno Satin.

His representative has suggested in a chat with French media platform Canal+ that the player and his family have an agreement with Real Madrid.

The long-term future of Mbappe has been the subject of discussion for several weeks even after fellow PSG attacker Neymar penned a new deal at the French club. Mbappe and Neymar had one year on their respective deals at PSG before the latter signed a new contract with the club earlier this month.

With his long-term future at PSG uncertain, Mbappe has also been linked with a move to Premier League giants Liverpool apart from Spanish club Real Madrid.

Mbappe was the star of the AS Monaco team that won the league title at the end of the 2016/17 campaign. He played a big part as Monaco sealed a first league title in 17 years. Mbappe and his Monaco teammates also reached the Champions League semi-finals that season before they were knocked out by Juventus. The French World Cup winner joined PSG afterwards.

French international Mbappe signed for PSG on loan in the summer of 2017 before the deal was made permanent in a £130.5m deal. He has scored 131 goals in 170 games in all competitions for PSG but the Champions League title has so far eluded him.

Mbappe and PSG were beaten in the final of the competition by Bayern Munich last season via the lone goal from former player Kingsley Coman. This season, PSG were knocked out of the Champions League in the last four.
